Real Estate Loan Processor - Fit Mortgage

Some of the responsibilities for this position are:

  • Interview members regarding loan programs and options.
  • Prepare and mail out Reg. Z and Good Faith Estimate within (3) business days of receipt of a completed loan application.
  • Perform filing, data input to computer updating and recording information, answering telephones, photocopying, member interface, typing letters and general office duties as required.
  • Process real estate loan applications on 1st mortgage loans.
  • Gather all income and asset documentation.
  • Send VOE’’s, VOD’s, VOM’s and VOR’s as required.
  • Open Escrow and Title as required.
  • Review preliminary title to ensure we have clear title and remove all clouds.
  • Order property appraisal through the collections department once the loan has been approved or tentatively approved.
  • Maintain company quality service standards.
  • Verbally interact with, clients, associates and guests.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Type 30 WPM.
  • Real Estate and accounting experience required.
  • Previous experience processing or underwriting investor quality loans.
  • Previous experience pricing, selling or servicing investor quality mortgages preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of credit union products and services, including, but not limited to: Deposit products, electronic services, wire transfer rules and procedures, direct deposit, payroll deduction and consumer loan processing.
  • Must be a Notary.
  • Must successfully pass the Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) Licensing and Registration background check with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registration (NMLS) or, currently be licensed or registered with an active NMLS and MLO Identifier Number.

Call Center Representative

Some of the responsibilities for this position are:

  • Greet members and guests on the phone in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Answers telephone/secure mail inquiries from members regarding loan and deposit services, credit, debit and ATM cards, account information, transfer requests, withdrawals, stop payments, check supplies, or any other member request concerning products and services of the credit union.
  • Responds to the members’ inquiries regarding the operation of accounts, access to services, account usage charges, interest rates on savings and loan products, resolving account discrepancies, and assisting members to make the most effective use of services offered by the credit union.



  • Associates Degree in Business Administration or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Two years financial institution experience, preferably in IRA’s, new accounts and loan processing or other call center experience preferred.
